SEN Teaching Assistant 
Location: Lancing
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at an inclusive primary school in Lancing.

The Role You'll work with primary children who may need extra support with:

  • Communication and social interaction
  • Academic skills and learning differences
  • Emotional regulation and confidence building
  • Physical or sensory needs

Your focus will be on fostering independence, celebrating achievements, and ensuring every child can participate fully in primary school life.

You'll Be:

  • Providing targeted support across the primary curriculum
  • Helping children develop social skills and friendships
  • Adapting activities and resources for individual needs
  • Supporting playground and lunchtime inclusion
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with primary children with diverse needs
  • A warm, positive and adaptable approach
  • Someone who celebrates small victories and progress
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Experience with reading interventions, fine motor support, or behaviour strategies are a bonus—but not essential.
