SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lancing
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at an inclusive primary school in Lancing.
The Role You'll work with primary children who may need extra support with:
- Communication and social interaction
- Academic skills and learning differences
- Emotional regulation and confidence building
- Physical or sensory needs
Your focus will be on fostering independence, celebrating achievements, and ensuring every child can participate fully in primary school life.
You'll Be:
- Providing targeted support across the primary curriculum
- Helping children develop social skills and friendships
- Adapting activities and resources for individual needs
- Supporting playground and lunchtime inclusion
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists
We're Looking For:
- Experience working with primary children with diverse needs
- A warm, positive and adaptable approach
- Someone who celebrates small victories and progress
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience with reading interventions, fine motor support, or behaviour strategies are a bonus—but not essential.
