ASD Teaching Assistant – Join a Supportive SEN School This September

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)? We are seeking a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting that values empathy, consistency, and positive behaviour support.

The Role:

  • Support students aged 4–16 with ASD in small group and 1:1 settings

  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning plans

  • Encourage communication, social skills, and emotional regulation through structured routines

  • Use visual timetables, sensory strategies, and positive reinforcement techniques

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with ASD or other special needs (school, home or community-based)

  • Calm, patient and proactive approach to behaviour management

  • Someone who is compassionate, consistent and ready to learn from the team

  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
