ASD Teaching Assistant – Join a Supportive SEN School This September
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)? We are seeking a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting that values empathy, consistency, and positive behaviour support.
The Role:

Support students aged 4–16 with ASD in small group and 1:1 settings

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning plans

Encourage communication, social skills, and emotional regulation through structured routines

Use visual timetables, sensory strategies, and positive reinforcement techniques
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with ASD or other special needs (school, home or community-based)

Calm, patient and proactive approach to behaviour management

Someone who is compassionate, consistent and ready to learn from the team
