Job Title: Secondary MFL Teacher
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary MFL Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Fareham, Hampshire. This role is perfect for someone who can inspire students to develop a love for languages, while building their confidence in speaking, reading, and writing.
Key Responsibilities of a Secondary MFL Teacher:
- Teach Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Monitor student progress, assess work, and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and enrichment activities.
- Encourage a love of languages and international awareness in the classroom.
The Ideal Secondary MFL Teacher Will Have:
- QTS, ECT status, or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
- A specialism in French, Spanish, or another modern foreign language.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to inclusive and high-quality education for all students.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
