QTS Teacher – Mainstream Primary School – Wimborne, Dorset
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) seeking your next opportunity in a supportive and engaging school environment?
GSL Education are looking to appoint a passionate QTS Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wimborne, Dorset from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Primary QTS Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring inclusivity and engagement
- Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
- Maintain a well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect and positive behaviour
- Inspire pupils to develop a love for learning and achieve their personal best
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
QTS Teacher – Primary Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Passion for education and commitment to pupil success
- Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
