Job Title: Primary Teacher

Salary: £120 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education are seeking an inspiring Primary Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Southwick. This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed teacher who wants to create memorable learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing school environment.

About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, helping children develop essential skills and knowledge. You'll work in a collaborative setting where your creativity and dedication will be valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver innovative, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in school events, performances, and community activities

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in primary settings (KS1/KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
  • Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
