Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who wants to deliver engaging lessons and support students in developing essential digital skills.
Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across Key Stages, helping pupils build strong foundations in programming, computational thinking, and IT. Your expertise will support students in becoming confident users and creators of technology.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Computer Science lessons tailored to varied abilities.
- Teach programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Track student progress and provide timely feedback to aid development.
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology.
- Contribute to the wider school digital strategy and extracurricular tech activities.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Degree or qualification in Computer Science, IT, or related subject is desirable.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at UK school level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
