Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S2
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. This position offers the chance to inspire students through engaging lessons in French, Spanish, or German.

Role Overview:
As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages, encouraging pupils to become confident and curious language learners. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help students build their communication skills and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons suited to diverse learning needs.
  • Promote language acquisition through innovative activities and cultural enrichment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies to support development.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and classroom management.

Requirements for MFL Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject is desirable.
  • Experience teaching MFL (French, Spanish, or German) at school level.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
