Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Maltby- S66
Salary Range: £95 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are inviting dynamic and energetic individuals to step into the role of Sports Coach at a welcoming school located in Maltby (S66). This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to channel their passion for sport into a fulfilling and impactful education role.
Role Overview:
As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in encouraging physical development, instilling sporting values, and supporting students’ mental and physical well-being. Your work will involve leading PE lessons, organising physical activities, and helping students develop essential life skills such as resilience, communication, and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support PE lessons across key stages under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Plan and facilitate structured physical activities and sports sessions to engage learners.
- Promote an inclusive sporting environment where all students can participate and succeed.
- Work with students with varied abilities, including those with SEN or SEMH needs, using sport to support behavioural and emotional development.
- Support extra-curricular clubs, inter-school competitions, and lunchtime/playground activities.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and progress where required.
Job Requirements:
- Experience coaching children or young people, ideally within a school or sports setting.
- A relevant sports or coaching qualification (e.g. Level 2 or above in Coaching, PE, or Sport Development).
- A genuine enthusiasm for youth development and sports education.
- Strong communication and motivational skills, with the ability to manage groups effectively.
- Understanding of child safeguarding and behaviour management strategies.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
