Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hoyland
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term. Part-time/Full-time.

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools in Hoyland. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on the classroom, whether you are an experienced TA or looking to begin your career in education.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
- Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs or additional requirements.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Contributing to progress reports and observations where required.
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have prior experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting individual learning needs.
- Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Be confident working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, 10-year career history with any gaps clearly explained.
