Job Title: Teacher of PSHE
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000- £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

GSL Education are recruiting a Teacher of PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Southampton. Applications are welcomed from QTS holders, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and candidates with relevant overseas teaching qualifications.
Key Responsibilities of the Teacher of PSHE:
- Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that cover personal, social, health, and economic education.
- Support pupils in developing emotional intelligence, resilience, and an understanding of key social issues.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop PSHE resources and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements for the Teacher of PSHE:
- QTS, ECT, or overseas equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for PSHE education.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
