Position: Cover Teacher
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £93 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Commencement: September 2025
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview:
As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on track with their learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding.
- Provide feedback on student progress to relevant staff.
Essential Qualifications for Cover Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- A ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic or employment setting.
- Previous teaching or classroom experience is essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners.
