SEN Teaching Assistant – Hackney
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Hackney. This role involves working with pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions.

Encourage student independence and social development.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.

A patient and resilient attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
