SUPPLY TEACHER

LOCATION: PLYMOUTH
SALARY: £110-£130 PER DAY
START DATE: SEPTEMBER, 2025
 

GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our growing team. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across various secondary schools and subjects throughout Plympton, Plymouth and surrounding areas and provide vital support in maintaining a high standard of education. Whether you’reseeking full-time or part-time roles, we offer flexible placements that can suit your availability. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. 

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a conducive learning environment. 

  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback. 

  • Welcoming students and creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

Requirements 

To apply for the Supply Teacher position, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Hold a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have relevant teaching qualifications. 

  • Possess an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one through our service. 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 

  • Exhibit excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Please be aware that this Supply Teacher role requires a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must undergo all necessary background checks, including an enhanced child DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
