Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S13
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Drama Teacher to join a thriving school in Sheffield, starting in September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who inspires self-expression, builds confidence, and encourages teamwork through the power of performance.
As a Drama Teacher, you will lead imaginative and engaging lessons that enable students to explore dramatic techniques, develop performance skills, and express themselves in a creative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in line with the national curriculum for Drama.
- Inspire students to engage with a range of dramatic forms, genres, and texts.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Direct and support school productions and drama clubs.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with staff to enrich the school's arts curriculum.
Requirements for Drama Teacher:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Drama in school level.
- Be passionate about theatre and the performing arts.
- Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply through GSL Education).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with all the gaps explained.
