Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Swinton, S64
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher to join a vibrant school in Swinton from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who is committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, and a positive sporting ethos in schools.

Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to develop their physical skills, confidence, and resilience. You will support students through key stages, fostering a lifelong appreciation for sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.

Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum.
  • Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and personal well-being.
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular sports clubs and school teams.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements for PE Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years with all the gaps explained.
