Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Swinton, S64
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a school in Swinton. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to nurturing tolerance, empathy, and critical thinking among students through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
Role Overview:
As an RE Teacher, you will inspire pupils to explore philosophical and ethical issues, understand world religions, and reflect on moral questions. You will deliver a well-rounded curriculum that encourages students to develop respect for diversity and engage in meaningful discussions.
Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver RE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage open dialogue, debate, and personal reflection.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote an inclusive classroom environment that values diversity.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and development opportunities.
Requirements for RE Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching RE at school level is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
