Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Swinton (S64)
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Swinton. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging geography lessons and support pupils’ understanding of physical and human geography.
Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
- Plan and teach stimulating Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking and an appreciation for environmental and social issues.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and school activities.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Geography at school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with all employment gaps clearly explained.
