Location: Hathersage (S32)
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive school in Hathersage from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to nurture artistic expression and critical thinking in students across Key Stages.
Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you will engage students in a range of artistic techniques and disciplines, encouraging exploration and innovation. You will help build their confidence and appreciation of visual arts while supporting academic achievement.
Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that cater to diverse abilities.
- Promote creative thinking and visual literacy.
- Guide students through coursework and prepare them for GCSE or A-Level Art.
- Maintain a safe and inspiring learning environment.
- Assess and report on students’ progress in line with school policies.
Requirements for Art Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Specialism in Art or related creative subject.
- Previous experience teaching Art in a school setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A detailed CV covering the last 10 years, with gaps clearly explained.
