Pay Rate: £13.68 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery setting in Christchurch, Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity to positively impact children's lives and ignite a passion for learning that will last a lifetime!

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and development. You’ll work closely with the team to provide one-on-one and group support, helping children overcome learning barriers and develop essential skills. Your role will also involve assisting in the preparation of lesson materials, supporting classroom activities, and celebrating each child's unique achievements!

Responsibilities of Nursery Practitioner

  • Collaborate with teachers to create tailored learning plans that address the specific needs of each child.
  • Use evidence-based strategies to support children in developing their academic and social skills.
  • Reinforce effective study techniques and model appropriate behaviour.
  • Help implement inclusive learning strategies and foster a culture of respect and cooperation.
  • Maintain detailed records and provide regular updates to teachers and parents.
  • Work with professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.

Requirements for Nursery Practitioner

  • Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in supporting children is essential.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping children.
  • Ability to build strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in early years education are desirable.
