Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £89 - £115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

The role as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA) involves assisting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored strategies and promote pupil engagement.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support students with behavioural difficulties in both one-to-one and group settings.
- Implement behaviour management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of individual pupils.
- Foster a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere that supports learning.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour to staff and parents/carers as needed.
Required Qualifications for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Previous experience working with children with behavioural challenges is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to addressing individual needs.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
