Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Armthorpe
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day

GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support schools in Armthorpe on a day-to-day basis. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), this is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or individuals with prior classroom experience to develop their skills and gain valuable school-based experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Ensuring a calm and focused classroom environment.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Providing support to students to ensure continuity in their learning.
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff as needed.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

  • Previous experience in a school setting or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidence to lead a class independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Provide a comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
