Position: Science Teacher

Contract Type: Fixed Term
Salary: £150 - £250 per day (depending on experience and expertise)

A vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Enfield is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fixed term position ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering curiosity, delivering impactful lessons, and helping students explore the wonders of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 preferred but not essential).

Use hands-on practical experiments, real-world applications, and interactive tools to stimulate student interest.

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.

Provide regular assessments and feedback to monitor progress and support achievement.

Support students of varying abilities, helping each to achieve their full potential.

Take an active role in school life including enrichment activities and academic initiatives.
About You:

You hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

Your subject knowledge in one or more science disciplines is strong and up to date.

You bring a dynamic, student-centred approach to the classroom.

You are confident in managing behaviour and encouraging student engagement.

You are organised, collaborative, and committed to professional development.

You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply for one).
