Job Title: Secondary Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting versatile and committed Secondary Teachers to work across schools in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are seeking flexible day-to-day roles or more long-term positions to support students across Key Stages.
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and encouraging student progress in your subject specialism.
Responsibilities as a Secondary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
Requirements for Secondary Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is required.
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
