Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2)
Pay rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to foster confidence, expression, and collaboration among students through the performing arts.
As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in drama and performance, nurturing students’ imagination, public speaking, and teamwork skills across Key Stages.

Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:

  • Teach Drama across Key Stages.
  • Develop lesson plans that explore theatre, improvisation, and performance.
  • Encourage self-expression and group collaboration.
  • Support extracurricular activities, including school plays and drama clubs.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements for Drama Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • Prior experience teaching Drama in UK schools.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Provide a full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
