Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to teach French, Spanish, or German and foster a love for languages in young learners. As an MFL Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in one or more foreign languages.
Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:
- Teach French, Spanish, or German across Key Stages.
- Encourage confidence and fluency in language use.
- Prepare students for language assessments and GCSEs.
- Use creative resources to bring languages to life.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements for MFL Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Specialism in French, Spanish, or German.
- Experience teaching MFL at the school level is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Provide a comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
