Pay Rate: £13.68–£13.96 per hour (Depending on experience)

The Opportunity

A welcoming nursery in Totton is seeking Early Years Practitioners to support the development and care of children aged 2–4. This setting is rooted in values of kindness, creativity, and learning through play.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Supporting the care, supervision, and play of young children
  • Helping to plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities
  • Encouraging children’s communication, independence, and confidence
  • Collaborating with nursery staff to meet each child’s unique needs
  • Assisting with daily routines such as snack times, toileting, and outdoor play

  • Passionate about early years development
  • A strong team player with good communication skills
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to grow
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting is a bonus – but not essential
