The Opportunity
A friendly, inclusive nursery in Portsmouth is seeking Nursery Assistants to support the care and development of children aged 2–4. This setting values kindness, creativity, and early learning through exploration and play.
You’ll be part of a supportive team that creates a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Supporting the care, supervision, and play of young children
- Helping to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Encouraging children’s communication, independence, and confidence
- Working closely with nursery staff to meet each child’s individual needs
- Assisting with routines such as snack times, toileting, and outdoor play

- Experience in a nursery or early years setting is a plus – but not essential
