Role: Teacher of Primary

Location: Boscombe, Dorset

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Boscombe, Dorset. This full-time position starts in September 2025 and is open to teachers with QTS, ECT status, or recognised overseas qualifications.

Key Responsibilities for the Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
  • Create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Promote pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
  • Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential for ECTs).
  • A strong understanding of curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • A passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
