Job Title: QTS Primary Teacher
Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a QTS Primary Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Weymouth, Dorset. Key Responsibilities for the QTS Primary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary national curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or a recognised overseas teaching qualification.
- Previous experience in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
- A strong understanding of primary curriculum expectations.
- A commitment to raising achievement and fostering a positive learning experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
