Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Swinton, S65
Daily Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a vibrant school in Swinton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact by engaging students in the wonders of the scientific world.
As a Science Teacher, you will inspire students through interactive and thought-provoking lessons in various scientific disciplines, fostering curiosity and critical thinking while helping them grasp core concepts across different Key Stages.
Responsibilities as a Science Teacher:
- Deliver well-structured and engaging Science lessons across Key Stages.
- Teach across the science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners.
- Encourage scientific curiosity and independent thinking.
- Track and support student progress with regular assessments.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department activities.
To be a successful Science Teacher, you will need to:
- Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have prior experience teaching Science in UK schools.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom control.
- Be committed to student development and safeguarding practices.
- Hold a current enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
- Provide a full CV with a clear 10-year history, with any gaps explained.
