Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Askern
Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school community in Askern. This is an excellent opportunity for a TA to work closely with teachers and pupils to help deliver high-quality education and foster a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
- Support students with special educational needs, if required.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and maintaining a tidy learning space.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- A calm, patient, and caring approach to working with pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support across various classes and age groups.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
