Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Daily Rate: £155 – £220
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you have a knack for numbers and a passion for teaching?

GSL Education are looking to appoint a committed Maths Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary school community in Sheffield. As a Maths Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping students’ mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.

Main Duties as a Maths Teacher:

  • Deliver well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages.
  • Adapt teaching to cater for a range of learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student performance and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with staff to raise attainment.

To be a Maths Teacher, the candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have proven Maths teaching experience in UK secondary schools.
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Hold a DBS certificate registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
