Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. This role begins in September 2025 and offers a flexible contract to suit your availability and experience.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire students to develop their mathematical skills and confidence. You will support learners across different key stages, using creative methods to make the curriculum accessible and enjoyable.
Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Differentiate instruction to cater for a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support improvement.
- Establish a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is mandatory.
- Specialism or experience teaching Maths at school level.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
