Location: Sheffield (S9)
Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Manager to join a school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to provide a nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour and supports pupils' wider needs.
Role Overview:
As a Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure the social, emotional, and behavioural welfare of students. You will play a key role in fostering a positive school culture and addressing barriers to learning.
Responsibilities as Pastoral Manager:
- Provide daily pastoral support to students across year groups.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student welfare.
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and manage behaviour interventions.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and emotional well-being indicators.
- Support the safeguarding team and contribute to safeguarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records and provide reports when necessary.
Requirements for Pastoral Manager:
- Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or welfare role in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any employment gaps clearly explained.
