Exciting Opportunity: Full-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant – Poole

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a nurturing primary school in Poole. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and offers the chance to support a young pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive in their learning journey.
About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be working closely with a pupil who has speech and language difficulties, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and develop key communication skills. Your role will be essential in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the pupil’s individual learning needs through structured activities and interventions.
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies.
- Encouraging social interaction and language development in a nurturing manner.
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Contributing to a warm and welcoming EYFS setting.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity (essential).
- A genuine passion for supporting early years development.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in a dynamic school environment.
- Commitment to long-term growth and development within the role.
