Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join schools in Sheffield from September 2025. This role offers flexibility across part-time and full-time positions, making it ideal for passionate educators committed to delivering engaging and effective maths instruction.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across a range of abilities and key stages. You’ll help foster a growth mindset around numeracy, support pupil progression, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and accessible maths lessons tailored to varied learning needs.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
- Develop a classroom culture of high expectations and mutual respect.
- Provide targeted support and intervention where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Previous experience teaching Maths in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
