Salary: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a school setting in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to empower students through the world of coding, programming, and digital literacy, while making a genuine impact in the classroom.
As a Computer Science Teacher, this role is ideal for a creative and dynamic educator who can deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students across Key Stages, while fostering students' interest in technology and problem-solving.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach core programming languages and concepts in a clear and engaging way.
- Inspire curiosity and critical thinking through practical activities and digital projects.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Support the wider school community by promoting responsible digital citizenship.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at school level.
- Be confident in delivering programming languages such as Python, HTML, or JavaScript.
- Have strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- Be passionate about technology and digital learning.
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
