Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Hathersage (S32)
Salary: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-term/ Day-to-day, Full-time/ Part-time

Are you a nurturing and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Hathersage (S32)?

GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in Hathersage (S32). This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with a range of special educational needs and who thrives in a small, structured, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements for the SEN Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
