About the Role

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Portsmouth is looking for a Classroom Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning activities, help pupils stay engaged, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

As a Classroom Assistant, You’ll:

  • Support pupils during lessons and activities
  • Assist with classroom organisation and preparation
  • Encourage positive behaviour and participation
  • Help children develop socially and emotionally
  • Be part of a collaborative and caring school team

  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • A friendly, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
