Salary: Up to £160 per day (depending on experience)

As an ECT, you will begin your journey as a qualified teacher, shaping the future while receiving the guidance you need to succeed.

As an Early Careers Teacher, your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Establishing a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively with guidance from senior staff.
  • Reflecting on practice and engaging in CPD to meet professional development goals.

To be successful as an Early Careers Teacher, you will need to:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
  • Show strong communication skills and a proactive approach to classroom management.
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to your own professional growth.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
