SEN Teaching Assistant – Greenwich
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school in Greenwich. This role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students with special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.

Encourage social and emotional development, supporting pupils’ confidence and independence.

Implement behaviour support strategies under guidance from senior staff.
Requirements:

Previous experience supporting students with SEN is desirable.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A positive, patient and resilient attitude.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
