Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking to appoint an outstanding Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sheffield (S11) from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging and dynamic computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 delivery depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Teach key programming languages and computing principles aligned with the national curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE and potentially A-Level exams.
- Foster digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Track pupil progress, providing support and interventions where necessary.
- Contribute to the wider computing department and school enrichment initiatives.
Requirements for the Computer Science Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Strong subject knowledge, including experience with coding (e.g., Python, HTML, JavaScript).
- A passion for technology, innovation, and creative teaching practices.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
