Salary: £120 per day

GSL Education is recruiting an experienced Caretaker for a school in Rotherham (S60). The successful candidate will maintain a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities of Caretaker:
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and minor DIY tasks as required.
- Manage site security, including opening and closing the premises.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks across the school site.
- Oversee waste management, deliveries, and stock levels for maintenance supplies.
- Support cleaning teams and ensure outdoor areas are well-kept.
- Report any issues promptly and liaise with contractors when needed.
Requirements of Caretaker:
- Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager, or facilities role (school experience is an advantage).
- Practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
- A proactive, trustworthy, and organised approach to work.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
