Salary: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/ Part-time, Long Term/ Day-to-day

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Dronfield (S18). This role is ideal for someone committed to supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them overcome challenges and succeed.

Key Responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and learning.
  • Support teaching staff in maintaining a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, external professionals, and the wider school team to support student progress.

Requirements for the Behaviour Mentor role:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, SEMH Teaching Assistant, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management and safeguarding procedures.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
