Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90 – £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:45 pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant primary school in Tower Hamlets. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure children with SEMH and other special educational needs thrive both academically and personally.


✏️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Morning Support: Provide targeted 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH, including ADHD and emotional regulation needs.

  • Afternoon Flexibility: Offer support across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to different classroom needs.

  • Inclusive Learning: Help foster a nurturing, supportive learning environment for all children.

  • Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.

  • Build Positive Relationships: Establish trust and consistent support to help students flourish.

  • Personal Care: Assist with nappy changing and other care tasks as needed to support individual needs.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Early Years TA, Nursery Assistant, or similar role (preferred)

  • Confidence in supporting children with SEN, including personal care

  • Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach to child development

  • Sound understanding of safeguarding, SEN, and child protection principles

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various classroom settings


Safeguarding Notice:
