Location: Southgate, Enfield
Salary: £95 – £105 per day
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:15 pm
Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across all Key Stages in a highly regarded SEN school in Enfield. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties, and other additional needs

Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and teachers

Assist in managing student behaviour and encouraging positive interactions

Prepare and adapt learning resources to suit individual learning needs
-
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills in pupils
-
Support pupils with personal care, where necessary

Maintain records of student progress and contribute to review meetings
✅ Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)

CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistant/Childcare, or a degree in Psychology, Education, or SEN
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable personality
-
Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Legal right to work in the UK
