SEN Teaching Assistant – Arnos Grove (N14 4HN)

Location: Arnos Grove, N14 4HN
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Hours: 8:15 am – 3:45 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time | Long-term


Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding SEN school in Arnos Grove, catering for pupils aged 4–18 with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.


About the School:

  • A specialist SEN school with a nurturing, inclusive environment.

  • Small class sizes (8–12 pupils) for tailored support.

  • Pupils have a range of needs: Autism (ASD), Social-Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Learning Difficulties.

  • A child-centred approach focused on individual development.


✅ Your Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with Autism and other SEN needs.

  • Assist children both in and outside the classroom.

  • Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

  • Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children (in school or similar settings).

  • A proactive, confident, and patient personality.

  • Someone who can take initiative and work as part of a team.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
