Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: Up to £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Doncaster. This SEN TA position is perfect for someone who thrives on making a positive impact in the lives of pupils with additional needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assisting the class teacher and SENCO in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
- Supporting pupils with their emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction.
- Helping to create a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitoring progress and reporting on pupil development.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A nurturing and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with all employment gaps explained.
