The Role:
This school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can join the team and bring a strong work ethic to the workplace, and someone who can work independently and in a team. This is a full-time/ part-time, ongoing role starting in September. The school caters to children and young people with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, speech and language difficulties, and sensory processing needs.

Key responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant role include:
- Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Supporting the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Adapting classroom activities and materials to suit individual needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with SEND preferred, not essential (in school, care, or voluntary settings)
- Calm, adaptable, and empathetic nature
- Genuine desire to support inclusive education
- Confidence in working with pupils with special needs
- A strong interest in inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
